C-frame presses, also known as gap frame presses, open frame, or open front presses, consist of a frame shaped roughly like the letter "C" with a bed at the bottom and a guide and support structure for a moving ram at the top. The frame may be a large casting, or a steel fabrication that is either welded or riveted.
Below are some features of the press:
1. A whole steel welded frame, high rigidity and less deformation, ensuring the capacity for bearing heavy load;
2. Cast structure and eight-side long rectangle guides, ensuring high moving precision and high accuracy;
3. The press has adjustable stroke as standard providing eight different lengths, in order to meet the punch processing for various dies.
4. The machine adopts pneumatic combined friction clutch-brake, with reliable safety, flexible action and long service life;
5. Hydraulic overload protection device is equipped, offering convenient maintenance and high sensitivity in effectively protecting against overload;
6. The machine adopts automatic oil lubrication system to ensure lubricating with timing and rations;
7. The adjustment for die-setting height is motorized and a digital indicator for die-setting height is equipped;
8. The crankshaft is arranged longitudinally, and the driving gears are submerged in the oil, as a result, the press machine has low noise and long service life;
9. The machine adopts pneumatic balance cylinders to balance the weight of slide and upper die, to ensure the press moving stably;
10. The electrical system is controlled by PLC, and main electrical components are famous brand’s, ensuring high reliability and good adaptability.
